About WASHE Project CSR PROJECT
Through the WASHE initiative, SLMTT took the first step forward to bring sustainable transformation in government schools with the aim to enhance the quality of education and increase the retention rate of students in the selected schools. SLMTT proposed to take up support of up to 30 schools PAN India over a period of 3 years in regions with Motherson presence. Same shall be covered in 3 Phases with each phase covering 10 schools, subject to coordination and relevant discussions / approvals from respective state administrations and education departments. SLMTT shall provide infrastructural development through renovation & civil works, added facilities to strengthen digital learning through Smart Classes, Furniture & Educational Material for improvement in quality of education at government schools in rural areas, thereby impacting a larger number of beneficiaries in the marginalized communities residing close to Motherson units across India.

About WASHE Project CSR PROJECT

Lotus Petal Foundation has started construction of a new campus to provide education for poor children in the outskirts of Gurgaon.

The campus is spread over 5 acres with a built-up space of 210,000 sq. ft. The land for the school belongs to Lotus Petal Foundation.

The school at full capacity will be catering to 10000 students from low-income underprivileged families directly on campus plus indirectly in over 100 government schools through outreach programs.

The campus will have an academic block, one kitchen block and one skill development block One academic block is under construction, the kitchen block is near completion whereas the skill development block is completed
